Evergreen is segmented into North and South Evergreen being defined as being located either north or south of Evergreen Lake. North Evergreen is more heavily populated and includes the higher end communities within Evergreen partially because of its closer proximity to I-70 resulting in easier access to downtown Denver and the High Country.
